Training courses

Two standard accredited MMO training courses are offered: a course for MMOs working in UK waters and a course for Protected Species Observers (PSOs) working in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition a refresher course is available for UK MMOs who might wish to update their knowledge. Bespoke courses may be arranged as required.

The UK MMO training course is recognised by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC). The Gulf of Mexico PSO course is accepted by the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE).
